It's that time of the year again. By jocelin carmes.
While browsing through the iCloud settings on my phone, I stumbled upon an interesting feature — Custom Domains for iCloud Mail.
If you're subscribed to iCloud+ on any of your Apple devices, you can opt-in to use a custom domain for your iCloud email address:
This is fantastic if you, like me, use a personalised email address like [email protected].
The setup process is quite simple, and the stock Mail app on all Apple devices gets automatically configured to use your new email address.
What's more?
Once added, other members in your iCloud family group can create their personalised emails using the shared domain name.
A fantastic service bundled directly into a single iCloud+ subscription at no additional cost.
I'm keen to give this service a shot, but my primary email is too deep into Google apps and custom email filters for me to migrate.
Maybe on some other domain name.
