DALL.E 2 is finally out of beta, and I got to give it a spin this week.

And I have to say that the hype was real. The results are mindblowing.

Although it glitches out here and there, it's a fantastic tool for generating illustrations and photos for blog posts and various other projects.

Here's a photo that I generated using DALL.E 2 with the phrase "A 1 year old dark brown golden retriever dog wearing cap sitting near a mountain covered with snow in daylight with sunshine":

Wow! Look at the fantastic photo the AI generated.

This is a pretty usable photo if you're looking to use this for editorial purposes or even marketing, say, dog caps.

And you can generate various other styles of artwork using this tool.

For example, here's a comic book artwork that I generated:

Now, the subject's left eye is a little botched here, but with some minor fixing, this illustration is ready for use.

It's hard to believe how far we've come with AI-powered tools.

Following this route, I'm looking to generate some illustrations for my upcoming blog posts on Hulry if the images turn out to be what I expect. 🤞

I'll let you know how that turns out.

You can try out DALL.E 2 for free with 50 credits to start with (1 credit for each image generation).

Even after that, the credits are pretty affordable at 115 credits for $15. That's over a hundred photos you can generate for a few bucks.
