Hulry just got a fresh coat of paint. ๐ŸŽจ

I created a custom theme for Hulry back in 2020 to offer a premium reading experience to my readers.

And since then, the Hulry theme has been loved by many.

So:

This year, I took the time to add more finesse to the existing theme and make:

Here's how the top half of the home page looks:

Also:

I moved my blog from WordPress to Ghost, and it's faster than before. โšก๏ธ

The main reason for the switch was to accommodate a membership program. Although it's possible to run memberships using WordPress, Ghost makes it easier.

Let me know what you think of the new design and if you have any suggestions for me by replying to this email.

And, if you enjoy content from this newsletter or the blog, I would love to have a few words from you that I can put up on the new site.

Reply to this email with your name and a short 2โ€“3 liner of what you love about Hulry or how Hulry is helping you. ๐Ÿ™

As always, thank you for your continued trust and support in Hulry.

Now, let's move to the rest of this newsletter issue:

Apps & Services

Framer Sites โž”

Create & publish beautiful websites in minutes

Framer joins the bandwagon of no-code tools for building and shipping beautiful websites but comes with some advanced layouts, animations and a built-in CMS available in a few clicks. I tried their editor, and it's mind-blowingly easy to design beautiful websites without any prior design or programming knowledge. Something I haven't felt with site builders like Webflow. Available on the web and is free to start.
KanbanMail โž”

Manage your emails like you manage your projects

KanbanMail puts a different spin on email management and triaging by letting you organise and process email using a Kanban board. Drag and drop your incoming emails between columns like To Do, Do Today, In Progress and Archived. Moving emails to the Archived column automatically archives them in Gmail. Available for Gmail on the web for $8/month.
ProjectionLab โž”

Visualise your current finances and future goals

ProjectionLabs lets you input your current financial holdings, income and debts to give you a clear idea of your financial situation right now. You can then set up long-term finance goals to track your progress and make better decisions. Goals account for inflation, investment growth rate and dividend yield to project an accurate picture. Available on the web and is free to start.
You Need a Wiki โž”

Generate a wiki from your Google Docs

Wikis are fantastic for sharing knowledge amongst team members or the general audience. And this app lets you set up a wiki right from your Google Docs. Create a folder, add documents, and link it to this app. And voila! You have a wiki that you can securely share within your team or with the public. Available on the web and is free to start.

The Myth of Three Meals a Day โž”

6 min read

I've been trying to have 2 proper meals and 1 light snacking every day and I have to say, I feel more energised throughout the day. Filling up my belly just for the sake of eating made me bloated and lazy, especially when we're working from home these days. But, take this advice with a grain of salt and research more on fasting before you start skipping meals each day.
