Hey there,

Notion rolled out a couple of game-changing features this week. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

If you use Notion, here are some features that can drastically improve your workflow:

You can now create custom views from existing databases, like this:

And no matter how your original database looks or how many properties it houses, you can independently adjust your custom view.

For example, you can choose to show a handful of your database properties in your custom view to keep things simple and neat.

This feature is convenient for creating report pages showing relevant data from multiple databases in your workspace.

Also:

Connecting multiple databases to your custom view gives you a tabbed layout for quickly switching between each data source:

Notion is already one of the most customisable knowledge management tools out there. And these new additions push the limits even further.

You can learn more about these changes in Notion's official release document.

Thanks to Matthias, a long-time Hulry reader, for bringing these changes to my attention.

Now, before you move on to the rest of this newsletter, here's an announcement:

After contemplating the idea for months, I've finally showcased The Hulry Newsletter on Product Hunt. ๐Ÿš€

If you're on Product Hunt, it would mean the world to me if you show your support for Hulry on PH. ๐Ÿ™

Now, grab a coffee, sit tight, and enjoy this week's issue:

Apps & Services

Any Distance โž”

A beautiful way to track and share your workouts

Any Distance is an iOS app that lets you track and share workout stats from Apple Health using some gorgeous templates. You can also set workout goals in the app to keep your fitness goals on track. I love how you can project your earned badges and running/cycling routes to your surroundings using AR. Free to start, and $29.99/year to unlock everything.
Magic Eraser โž”

Remove unwanted objects from your photos

Magic Eraser is hands-down the best object removal tool I've ever used. Even with complex photos, this app could smoothly remove any object I wanted from the photos. Although, one bummer is that you can only export pictures in a low-resolution size of 600 x 400. Fingers crossed on this tool supporting high-res exports. Available as a web app for free.
Kairn โž”

Centralise all of your tasks

Kairn lets you pull your tasks from multiple sources like Notion and Slack into a unified view. What's better? You can have your tasks show up in different layouts, grouped by urgency/impact or grouped by their schedule. And sync works both ways. This means that if you complete a task in Kairn, it gets marked as done in Notion. Available on web and iOS, and is free to start with.
Plz DM Me โž”

Create actionable welcome messages in Twitter DM

Getting repeated requests on your Twitter DM? This app will help you set up a welcome message with links to your resources for anyone trying to DM you on Twitter. It's like Intercom or Crisp, but for your Twitter inbox. I'm using this tool to set up a welcome message to link this newsletter, how to book ad slots, and more. 100% free to use.
