I recently updated my iPhone to iOS 27 Public Beta, and the new feature I loved most is the ability to link to section headings in the Notes app.

This takes the stock Notes app one step closer to being a fantastic medium to grow a digital information garden.

Here's how it works:

On any note, you can now select the relevant text you want to link, choose Add Link from the pop-up menu, and then select a section to link to from another note:

Once added, you can jump straight to the relevant section in the other note on tapping the linked text.

This is a fantastic way to form a network of ideas or link related journal entries.

If you've already updated to iOS 27 Public Beta, try this out. Or, try it out once the final release arrives later this year.
