Hulry entered its 5th year this week. 🎈

Time flies, right?

If you're new here, welcome. If you've been on this journey with me for a while, thanks for sticking with me for so long.

When I started the Hulry blog, I had no idea where it was heading. I was burned out from writing code and reading about software development all day at the time, and I wanted a creative side project to balance it out.

In these last 5 years, this side project has grown beyond my imagination and has helped me:

  • Meet and converse with many interesting people from around the world.
  • Expand my thinking and writing capabilities.
  • Produce some of my best work through the membership program I launched last year.
  • Witness the value of small steps and compounding firsthand. It's easy to look at a blog, newsletter or YouTube channel and be overwhelmed with the amount of work you have to do if you want a similar project. But you don't have to do everything in a week or even a month. One step at a time, repeated long enough, will do.

So, if you've been contemplating a side project on and off, take that first step and make it happen.

You never know where it might take you.

Now, before you move on to the rest of this newsletter issue, here are a few words from:
