I had a bit of a coincidence when this highlight I had saved earlier resurfaced through one of my automated workflows:

"When you’re in the presence of something vast and indescribable, it’s hard to maintain the view that you—and the voice in your head—are the center of the world."

The coincidence was that the quote popped up around the time when I was awe-struck by views like this:

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I would emphasise that travel can sometimes be a cure for the mind.

Being amidst the majestic mountains of the Himalayas, I felt grounded.

Travelling, when being immersed in it, can give us the space and time to step back from our daily worries, replace our internal chatter with awe, and realign with our greater vision.

If you have the means for it, travel and immerse yourself in grand beauty.

Often, we think of travel as an expensive and time-consuming ordeal, but it doesn't have to be. I love how Brett & Kate view travelling as something as approachable as an 8-hour drive.

Take a break every few months and explore the world around you — the world outside your mind.
