Issue #164 | Subscribe

One of my goals last year was to resume making and publishing videos on my YouTube channel, which I briefly worked on in 2023.

I'm late on that goal, but after a long 2-year hiatus, I finally recorded the first video after the break last week.

Making a single 3-minute long video took me hours, but I enjoyed the process after having only worked on written pieces for so long. It was a nice Datsuzoku moment.

I'm working to set a regular cadence of posting videos, much like the blog posts on Hulry, so you can expect to see a steady stream of videos arrive on the channel.

What does this mean for this newsletter and the blog?

Everything stays the same. I'll keep publishing new blog posts every week and sending this newsletter.

Additionally, I'll occasionally come bearing wisdom through videos that are usually less than 10 minutes long.

If you haven't seen the channel yet, check it out and subscribe if you want to see videos on personal growth, workflows and tech.

I've shared this week's video at the end of this newsletter issue. I hope you'll find it helpful. 🤞

P.S.:- I'll be taking a break from sending this newsletter next week to travel. I'll be back on 25th April with a new issue.

Now, before you move on to the rest of this newsletter issue, here are a few words from:

"I’d given up on finding a good shared inbox. Everything we tried was either too complex, too expensive, or just not fun to use. Then we found Jelly. The whole team was on board in no time. Whenever we’ve had questions, the Jelly team has been super responsive."

"Finally, I can stop being a shared inbox dad." – Paul Love, happy Jelly customer

Apps & Services

Dia

Yet another take on web browsing

The Browser Company is back with another new browser. One that champions AI-assisted browsing. I like the clean, minimal look of the browser and the premise that we can tag active tabs while asking AI a question, but it's still early days. Available on macOS on an invite-only basis.
Gamma

Convert messy notes into presentation slides

If you regularly make presentations at work, this app would be a time saver. Paste your notes, and Gamma will create neatly designed slides for you, which you can present from the app or export to PowerPoint or Google Slides. Thanks to Matt for the recommendation. Available on the Web and is free to start.
MagicQuit

Auto-quit inactive apps on your Mac

Often, I leave apps open for too long, which hogs up system resources. If you do the same, use this app. It’ll auto-close any unused apps after they have been inactive for a certain period. You can also exclude apps from auto-closing. Available on macOS for free.
