Stories by the campfire. Generated using DALL·E 3.
Podcasts have been an on-and-off thing for me.
I’ve enjoyed many shows over time, but somehow, I drifted away from each after a few weeks.
Some were too educational, and I didn’t want to sit through another tutorial during my downtime or after a long day at work.
Some were entertaining but long. I don’t like listening to hour-long podcasts.
Recently, though, I stumbled upon a podcast that meets both my criteria — relaxing and short.
And it’s called 99% Invisible.
This podcast mainly discusses the backstory of everyday things like postage stamps, cassettes, crosscut saws and Wilderness, the braille language and more.
Each episode is around 30 minutes long and narrated in a soothing storytelling voice, which makes this podcast a fantastic companion during my everyday commute.
I’ve listened to about five or six of their episodes and keep returning for more.
Try this one if you’re looking for an interesting yet relaxing podcast.

I've used similar methods during my college days to memorise lists, and I can say that this works.
