iOS 17 is out, and although it features some significant upgrades like Contact Poster and AirDrop improvements, I'm more interested in the tiny quality of life improvements in this new update.

Small features such as auto-deleting one-time codes after auto-filling on payment pages:

You can turn this feature on by going to Settings → Passwords → Password Options.

Another minor improvement I noticed is in the Photos app, where you can get automatic lookup suggestions on the subject of the photo:

These suggestions not only come up for animals or plants but also for books in photos, music artists and albums in a screenshot and more.

And then, if you have an AirPods Pro (2nd Gen), there's a significant quality of life improvement called Conversation Awareness:

With this option turned on, iOS will automatically reduce your AirPods volume whenever you start speaking and then turn it back up to your set volume a few seconds after you stop talking.

This is fantastic because I don't have to manually play and pause music when I have to chat quickly with another person for a few seconds.

But this is not the end of the improvements list. Check out the video at the end of this issue to learn more about the 400+ little updates in iOS 17.

If you're already on iOS 17, what's been your favourite new feature so far?
